The real pitch

You want to do art with your toddler. You also know what happens when you actually try.

Paint on the rug. A two-hour cleanup. A frustrated kid. A frustrated you.

We come to your home with everything pre-set, lead a 45-minute sensory-first session designed for tiny hands and short attention spans, and clean up every drip before we leave. You get the bonding. You don't get the mess.

What we do

This is process art — focused on exploration, texture, and creative play, not on producing a perfect end product. For toddlers, the joy is in the doing, not the result. Elena's Master's in Art Education means activities are designed around actual developmental science, not just Pinterest aesthetics.

  • Finger painting (washable, non-toxic)
  • Sensory bins (rice, beans, water beads)
  • Color mixing exploration
  • Texture art (sponges, leaves, found objects)
  • Simple printmaking
  • Clay and play-dough sculpting
  • Nature-collage outdoor sessions

What people say

My toddler is 2.5 and not a 'sit still' kid. Elena worked with her energy instead of against it — sensory bins, finger painting, all the messy things — and somehow my house wasn't a disaster afterwards. We're booking her monthly.
Ashley · Beverly Hills
Did a playgroup session with three other moms and our kids (ages 1–3) at Mar Vista Park. Calm, organized, beautiful materials, and the kids loved it. Booked the next four already.
Megan · Mar Vista
Best decision I made for my daughter's 7th birthday. Elena set up in our backyard — drop cloths, apron-tying, the whole thing — and ten girls sat down and actually painted for ninety minutes straight. Real instruction, not a craft. Three of the moms texted me afterwards asking for her info.

Frequently asked questions

Who's the instructor?
Elena Marmol leads every session personally. She holds a Bachelor's in Fine Arts and a Master's in Art Education from the University of Seville — meaning the activities are designed around real developmental learning, not just craft kits off Amazon.
What ages is this for?
Best for ages 1–4. For older preschoolers (4–5), check our private art lessons.
How long are sessions?
45 minutes for single-family, 60 minutes for playgroups. Toddler attention spans are short — we keep it tight on purpose.
What if my toddler doesn't want to participate?
That's normal and we plan for it. Some kids dive in immediately, some watch for 20 minutes before joining. There's no pressure — the parent-child bonding happens either way.
Can we do this in our apartment?
Yes. We use drop cloths and washable, non-toxic supplies. Your floors will be fine.
Can we host at a park?
Absolutely — many of our toddler sessions happen at parks. Popular spots: Roxbury Park, Cheviot Hills, Griffith Park, Reservoir Park.
Are supplies safe for toddlers?
Yes — all paints are non-toxic, washable, and toddler-safe. Let us know in advance about specific allergies.
Can sessions be in Spanish?
Yes — Elena offers Spanish-language sessions at no extra cost. Great for bilingual households and Spanish immersion families.
What's the smallest group you'll do?
A single parent + toddler is fine ($150 for 45 minutes).
Do you offer recurring classes?
Yes — recurring weekly or biweekly series get a discounted rate. Great for playgroups that want a consistent activity.
Is there a deposit?
Yes — a $50 non-refundable deposit secures your session. Balance is due 24 hours before. For recurring series, we bill weekly.
My toddler is almost 5 — what's next?
When your kid ages out of mommy & me (around age 5), the natural next step is the 5-Week Foundations program, designed for ages 6–12. Many of our toddler families transition directly into Foundations.
