Frequently asked questions

Will the kids' paintings actually look good?
Yes — watercolor is one of the most forgiving mediums. Even a 3-year-old's “mistakes” look intentional in watercolor.
Can we do this at the beach?
Yes! We've done Under the Sea parties at Polliwog Park, Manhattan Beach, and several backyards near the coast. Beach setups need a backup plan for wind/sand.
What if my kid wants to paint something specific?
We can adapt. Just mention it in the inquiry form.
Is the watercolor paper actually nice quality?
Yes — we use real cold-press watercolor paper. The take-home pieces are frame-worthy.
Can older kids do this too?
Yes — we'll up the complexity. A 10-year-old can paint a much more detailed underwater scene than a 4-year-old.
